Cocojoey

If your weekend plans don’t involve the sonic whirlwind set to tear up Reggies Music Joint, you might want to rethink your status as the reigning indie aficionado. This Saturday night, Vethaken leads an audacious lineup that reads like a who’s who of underground rock's avant-garde. Brace yourself for the mind-bending, genre-swirling symphony of We Used To Cut the Grass, whose live sets feel like stepping into an alt-dimension where saxophones and synthesizers engage in a cosmic dance-off. Cocojoey will serve up visceral, raw energy that’s akin to a caffeine rush in musical form, sure to send jaded hips shaking. And don’t overlook Trust Fund Ozu, whose lo-fi anthems and candid lyricism hit harder than unexpected nostalgia. Chicago's soundscape will never be the same after this assembly of creative chaos. Miss it at your peril.
