World shows in Chicago

Clear your Thursday schedule and dust off your dancing shoes because Cubby Bear is about to become the epicenter of global grooves. CHICHA ROOTS and EMBINA are bringing their electrifying fusion of tropical rhythms and avant-garde beats, transforming the venue into a kaleidoscope of sound. Picture the heart of Chicago pulsing with the vibrant energy of a rainforest rave, where every thumping bass line and percussive beat feels like a secret shared among friends who knew about this gig before it was cool. And those "special guests"? Well, in a city that never sleeps on surprise talent, you can bet they'll only elevate the night further. It's the kind of show where the music wraps around you like the city’s most legendary late-night jam, leaving you wondering why you ever contemplated staying home.

If your post-Lolla plans involve sulking in your overpriced Airbnb, think again. ADO is throwing down an aftershow at the iconic Aragon Ballroom that promises to be the sonic equivalent of finding a first press Velvet Underground LP at a garage sale. Prepare for a night where your feet never touch the ground—ADO's synth-laden soundscapes will have you floating in a haze of neon and nostalgia. The real magic strikes, when ADO transforms the room into their own cosmic playground. Imagine the energy of an entire festival distilled into one pulsating ballroom, with a crowd that feels like a 'who’s who' of future musical legends. Don’t just hear about it later; be there, and let this aftershow be the story you brag about all year.
