Mei Jun

When the mercury drops and the cityscape dons its autumnal hues, there's only one place to be: caught in the sonic embrace of Mei Jun and Brent de la Cruz at +1 Presents. This isn't just another gig on the endless scroll of your life—it's a visceral plunge into a kaleidoscope of sound that could only come from the restless minds on the cutting edge of indie's restless heart. Mei Jun, the enigmatic whisper behind haunting dreamscapes, pairs off with Brent de la Cruz, the maestro of synth-wizardry who can make a basement feel like the cosmos. Together, they promise an evening where shoegaze meets synthpop in a clandestine dance of reverb and rhythm, with tracks that are less songs and more spiritual awakenings. Shake off the ennui and let your soul howl—we promise that $18 never felt so much like a portal to another world. Who knew transcendence could be waiting at the end of the subway line?
