Labretta Suede and the Motel 6

On a Wednesday night, when most of New York is winding down or hopelessly stuck in a midweek lull, Bowery Palace becomes the glittery epicenter of a sonic time warp. Glamdammit rolls into its twenty-second year, a living, breathing love letter to the golden days of glam rock and punk. The evening kicks off with DJ Twig the Wonderkid spinning the kind of tracks that make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a Berlin discotheque circa 1978.

From there, the ride only gets wilder. 12090 A.D. takes the stage to paint a neon-lit fever dream that echoes late-70s Berlin through a Lynchian lens—music for an art film that never quite existed. Robby Bloodshed follows, channeling the dissonant whispers of your restless nights into something both haunting and electrifying.

And just when you think the night has hit its peak, Labretta Suede & The Motel 6 crash in with their "Ass Whippin', High Kickin', Low Down Rockin' An-A-Reelin'" set, like the high-class outlaws of a western glam saga. This isn’t just a concert; it’s a spectacle where David Bowie’s ghost might just saunter in for a quick dance. Wednesday night never looked so rebellious.
