Protomartyr

Protomartyr is taking over Webster Hall this Thursday night, a gathering for those who know that post-punk isn't just a genre—it's a statement. With Joe Casey's baritone slicing through the air like a Brooklyn subway at rush hour, expect a sonic narrative that transforms existential dread into something almost rapturous. If you crave raw authenticity and lyrics that read like a gritty novel, missing this show would be the equivalent of skipping out on a secret meeting of the minds. A Thursday night with Protomartyr isn't just another gig; it's the indie scene's version of church.
